Kathy Adkins, RN, is a dedicated critical care nurse and nursing professor, boasting specialty certifications and multiple master’s degrees in nursing education and healthcare administration. As a committed dementia research consultant, she teaches at various colleges on subjects related to dementia care. Kathy is licensed to practice in 44 states, allowing her to reach a wide range of clients.
In 2011, she was honored as the 'Nursing Educator of the Year' by the WSU School of Nursing. With her extensive experience, she has critiqued hundreds of research documents and studied numerous books focusing on dementia care. As a Master Dementia Coach, she adeptly guides families and clients through the healthcare delivery system, creating personalized care plans and providing referrals to organizations, medical supply providers, and healthcare information sources. Kathy reports to clients and their primary care physicians (PCPs) to ensure optimal care for everyone, making her services accessible to clients of all ages.
